Having studied in several martial arts for many years, I highly recommend Scorpion Jiu Jitsu in Bury (near bottom of Tottington Road).
Great, fun atmosphere, good syllabus, especially recommended for young Ninja's as it teaches life skills of discipline and co-ordination and interaction and respect! Steve is a dedicated professional, great with all age groups.
Plenty of free parking and handy superstores nearby!

Great gym top vibe on the matt, get down and learn some real life skills builds confidence and get you in shape . My coach John Barlow teaches here on a Monday, he’s helped me lots with tightening my game . Keep up the good work everyone !!!!!

My son has been attending this club for 2 years now. He started in the little dragons class and has recently progressed to little ninjas. He has gained so much confidence had lots of fun and always looks forward to Saturday mornings! Sensei has an infectious enthusiasm and clearly loves what he does. I would recommend the class to anyone looking for exercise, concentration and above all fun!

My son has been at the club for nearly 2 years. He is 8yrs and this has taught him about respect, discipline and how to deal with other boys in the playground if they get a bit rough. Teachers are great, he has fun and learns at the same time. Great life skills !!!

A brilliant place to learn Jiu Jitsu, you receive a warm welcome when you're there if you are a beginner or a regular. There is a great atmosphere and everyone gets on really well. The staff are polite and show a lot of commitment to the art. I would highly recommend going here if you want to try a new sport or even carry on improving your skills.

My son was in year 4 when the bullying started. We enrolled him at Scorpion Jiu Jitsu and in the 2 years he has been attending the bullies do not bother him anymore.I can highly recommend this friendly,welcoming club to any parent who maybe experiencing the same thing.

Scorpion jiu jitsu is brilliant for kids they help them learn through games. My son benefits greatly from the experience. The staff are amazing very knowledgeable about jiu jitsu and great with complex issues the kids can sometimes present.

All the guys at scorpion jujitsu are amazing, my five year old son has been going for about 2 months every Saturday and loves it. Steve is a wonderful teacher that engages and entertains the kids in his class while teaching them jujitsu skills and valuable life lessons about stranger danger and how to deal with bullies and bad guys. I honestly cannot speak highly enough about Steve and his team especially jack and the other lads/students that assist in coaching the classes. I would definitely recommend them.

My son attends a weekly class here and absolutely loves it. As a parent, you can see that the children are learning the foundations of jui jitsu, but they just think they're having fun. 'Back off bad guy!!' Thanks to Steve and the team for a great setup.

My son goes to these classes twice a week and i find the classes absolutley fantastic. A real club atmosphere and the teachers make it fun and educational for students and spectators. I would highly recommend this club to anyone thinking of getting their kids into martial arts. Good luck to all scorpions taking their grading !

As a former student and close relation to the club, I've seen Scorpion Jujitsu's methods and teachings grow and evolve to adapt to modern times and different situations. The family feel to the club not only creates a fun yet safe environment, it creates a comfortable atmosphere to learn. The passion and enthusiasm shown by the staff for the art of Jiu Jitsu is admirable and imperative especially when teaching kids. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone.

Empowering!!! Women's Self Defence on Sunday's 10am and Wednesday's 7pm come highly recommended. I attend with my two teenage daughters and we are learning skills that enable us to feel confident in different situations. These classes should be compulsory!!!
